Religion is one of the oldest ways humans have tried to understand life, death, morality, spirit, creation, suffering, the divine, and the unseen world. Some religions centre around one God.
Others honour many gods, spirits, ancestors, saints, sacred forces, or cosmic laws.
This branch will explore major world religions, ancient religions, folk religions, Indigenous spiritual traditions, mystery traditions, sacred texts, gods, spirits, rituals, afterlife beliefs, symbols, and mystical practices.
The goal is not to rank religions or flatten them into simple summaries.
The goal is to understand where they came from, what they teach, how they shaped history, and how they connect to magick, folklore, mythology, and spiritual practice.

Witchcraft Traditions & Magical Paths
Witchcraft isn’t one single belief.
Some witches are Pagan.
Some are Wiccan.
Some are Christian.
Some are secular.
Some are folk practitioners, herbalists, rootworkers, ceremonial magicians, chaos magick practitioners, traditional witches, or solitary spellworkers.
Some honour gods.
Some work with ancestors.
Some focus on nature, energy, psychology, ritual, spirits, saints, angels, demons, land, herbs, astrology, or personal transformation.
This branch gives each witchcraft path its own space.
It will explore what different types of witches believe, what tools they use, how they practise, what traditions they may come from, and what makes each path distinct.
It should also explain what is open, what may be closed or culturally specific, and where modern labels differ from older historical practices.

Cults, Satanism & Forbidden Traditions
The word cult needs careful handling.
Today, many people use it to mean a dangerous or coercive group.
That meaning matters, especially when discussing manipulation, control, abuse, and exploitation.
But historically, a cult could also mean a system of worship, devotion, or ritual practice connected to a deity, saint, ancestor, temple, mystery tradition, or sacred figure.
This branch will include both meanings. It will cover ancient devotional cults such as the cult of Isis, cult of Mithras, cult of Dionysus, cult of Hecate, saint cults, ancestor cults, mystery cults, and dragon orders.
It will also explore Satanism, Luciferianism, Left-Hand Path traditions, demonology, Baphomet, the Black Flame, secret societies, occult orders, and modern high-control groups.
The darker side must be studied carefully. Some traditions are misunderstood because of fear, propaganda, religious conflict, or moral panic.
Others became genuinely harmful through coercion, isolation, exploitation, or authoritarian control.

Why These Paths Belong Together
These three branches belong under one umbrella because they all deal with belief, ritual, spiritual identity, unseen forces, sacred symbols, hidden knowledge, and the way humans search for meaning beyond the ordinary world.
Religion gives us temples, scriptures, gods, saints, spirits, ethics, devotion, and sacred history.
Witchcraft gives us spellwork, folk practice, personal magick, ritual craft, seasonal wisdom, and the many ways people work directly with energy and intention.
Cults, Satanism, and forbidden traditions give us the shadow side of belief: mystery, secrecy, rebellion, fear, initiation, control, taboo, and transformation.
Keeping these branches connected helps readers see the bigger picture. It also prevents confusion.
Witchcraft is not always religion. Satanism is not one single belief system.
Cults are not always dangerous.
Religion is not always separate from magick. The truth is more layered, and that is exactly why this section matters.
